Now the Berean Jews were of more noble character than those in Thessalonica, for they received the message with great eagerness and examined the Scriptures every day to see if what Paul said was true.
- Acts 17:11 NIV
The CTRC Book club is the arm of the church set to a hunger and eagerness to search and study the Word of God. Kent Hughes of the Westminster Theological Seminary in an article on “ The Nobel Bereans” stated: “Eagerness makes all the difference in the flavor, quality, and nobility of our Christian lives". The Christian life can be most stimulating if we allow ourselves to be learning, growing, and continually immersing ourselves in the Scriptures. God’s Word will keep us in touch with the fundamental issues of life and keep us alive and growing - honorable ambassadors of Jesus Christ!
